Daily Itinerary
Shimla to Sarahan (154km, ~5 hours): Start from Shimla, with local sightseeing at Kufri, Fagu, Hattu Peak, and Tanu Jubber Lake en route. Night stay in Sarahan.
Sarahan to Chitkul (83km, ~3 hours): Visit the famous Bhimakali temple in Sarahan. Head towards Sangla Valley, see Kamru Fort, and finally reach Chitkul, the last village of India. Night stay in Rakcham.
Chitkul to Kalpa (60km, ~2.5 hours): Explore Chitkul with short hikes and a visit to 'Hindustan ka Aakhari Dabha'. After lunch, head to Kalpa and visit Chandika temple and the Suicide Point at Roghi village. Enjoy the sunset over Kinner Kailash. Night stay in Kalpa.
Kalpa to Tabo (100km, ~3 hours): Journey towards Tabo via Khab (confluence of Spiti and Satluj rivers) and Nako. Visit Nako Lake and Monastery. En route, visit the mysterious Gue village to see the mummy. Night stay in Tabo.
Tabo to Kaza via Pin Valley (98km, ~4 hours): Visit the world-famous Tabo Monastery and Dhankar Monastery. Detour to Mudh village, the entrance of Pin Valley National Park. Visit the Khungri monastery. Night stay in Kaza.
Kaza Local Sightseeing (High Altitude Villages): Explore the circuit of Komic (world's highest village), Hikkim (world's highest post office), and Langza (famous for its Buddha statue and fossils). Night stay in Kaza.
Kaza to Chicham (21km, ~40 mins): Visit the iconic Ki Monastery and Kibber Monastery. Drive over the Chicham bridge, one of the highest in Asia. See the Tanggyud monastery. Night stay in Kaza.
Kaza to Narkanda (362km, ~10 hours): A long drive back from the Spiti Valley towards Narkanda. Rest well after the journey. Night stay in Narkanda.
Narkanda to Shimla/Chandigarh (60km, ~2 hours): After breakfast, start the final leg of the journey for your drop-off at Shimla or Chandigarh.
