Daily Itinerary
Shimla to Sarahan/Narkanda (154km, ~5 hours): Start from Shimla, with sightseeing at Kufri, Fagu, and Hattu Peak. Night stay in the Narkanda/Sarahan area.
Sarahan to Kalpa via Sangla (83km to Sangla, then to Kalpa): Visit Bhimakali temple in Sarahan. Head into Sangla Valley, see Kamru Fort, then proceed to Kalpa. Enjoy sunset views over Kinner Kailash.
Kalpa to Tabo (163km, ~4.5 hours): Journey to Tabo via Khab and Nako. Visit Nako Lake and Monastery, and the Gue village monastery to see the mummy. Night stay in Tabo.
Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar & High-Altitude Villages: Visit Tabo and Dhankar monasteries. Explore the high-altitude villages of Langza, Hikkim (world's highest post office), and Komic (world's highest village). Night stay in Kaza.
Kaza to Chandratal via Key & Kibber (95km, ~3 hours): Visit the iconic Ki Monastery, Kibber village, and cross the Chicham Bridge. Journey to the moon lake, Chandratal, for a night stay in Swiss tents.
Chandratal to Jispa (133km, ~4 hours): Travel from Chandratal to Jispa in the Lahaul valley, enjoying the exceptional Himalayan beauty along the way. Night stay in Keylong/Jispa.
Jispa to Baralacha Pass Excursion (74km, ~2 hours each way): A day trip to the mighty Baralacha Pass to explore its stunning beauty. Return to Keylong for the night.
Keylong to Manali/Chandigarh (375km, ~9+ hours): Embark on a long drive from Keylong back towards the plains, concluding the Spiti circuit.
Buffer Day / Final Departure: This day serves as a buffer for the long journey or for the final drop at Chandigarh as per your convenience.
